Live Green Solar is your local, family-run solar and battery storage specialist. We pride ourselves on good, honest customer service and advice.

As Owner, Installer & Designer, Richard Adams has been an accredited Clean Energy Council Solar Designer and Installer since 2008. He is a qualified Electrician with 21 years’ experience in Australia and the UK and has installed well over 1500 solar systems during his career.

Having sub-contracted for multiple solar companies, from small local solar firms to some of Queensland’s largest solar energy suppliers, Richard is focused on providing his customers with everything they need to know in order to make an informed decision whether solar is the right choice for them and their property.

Richard understands solar is a long-term investment and is passionate about providing his customers with a range of quality systems at competitive prices.

How we differ

Richard started this company because there are too many households given wrong information when it comes to system performance and system yield. He has seen customers being over-sold and under-delivered a product that won’t match the expectations promised, with no support once the sale has been made.

On engaging Live Green Solar, Richard will be your first and last point of contact. He will discuss your requirements and gain an insight into why you are considering solar. Preferably he will arrange a site measure and energy consultation with you. During this process, Richard will provide you with a qualified estimate of what you can expect from your solar system, in terms of energy production and $ return value. Richard will do a roof measure and inspection and take into account any external attributes (i.e. shading, orientation, pitch), that may affect the efficiency and performance of your solar system.

With his product knowledge and experience as an installer and designer, his promise to you is to provide good, honest advice to ensure you completely understand how a solar system could benefit you.

A 13.32 kw system powering a 3-phase 10 kw Sungrow Hybrid battery ready inverter. The idea here is when the feed-in tariff reduces and battery prices reduce, it will then become feasible to add a battery to charge the battery for night usage instead of exporting to the grid.
